This year a Scottish Rite Tough Mudder Team from the Washington, DC area will travel to the Peacemaker National Training Ground and will start the 11 mile course at 10:00 AM. Tough Mudder obstacle courses are designed to test all-around strength, stamina, teamwork, and mental grit. The courses are designed by former British Special Forces. The Peacemaker course will include 20+ obstacles.

Although these are very grueling events, they are also fun events. In keeping with our mission of comradery, education, fellowship, brotherhood, and fraternity we invite you to come join us on the mountain as a spectator. Spectator information and ticket purchase can be found at:

In addition to supporting your Scottish Rite Team, there is another good reason to support this event. The Tough Mudder organization has chosen the Wounded Warrior Project as their charity of choice. A percentage of all ticket sales go to the Wounded Warrior Project. Thus far, Tough Mudder has donated over $6.5 million to this worthy cause. The Wounded Warrior Project has helped thousands of Wounded Warriors make the transition from the battlefield to life back home. Scottish Rite has a long history of supporting our troops, and is proud to help support the efforts of the Wounded Warrior Project.

So come out and support your Scottish Rite Tough Mudder Team!
