Yes. While we encourage you to register online, you may register on-site, using a major credit card. Please do not bring checks or cash.

How much time should I budget to attend the workshops?

All conferences begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. If possible, please plan on arriving no later than mid-morning on Friday and departing no earlier than 6 pm on Saturday.

Is there a mask or vaccination requirement?

Our conferences are subject to the city and state ordinances and the Grand Lodge edicts in place for each conference location. As these guidelines have been changing rapidly, conference attendees will receive an email with local guidelines the week of the conference they are attending.

What is the dress code?

The attire for the conferences is business casual (golf/polo shirts with slacks or khakis recommended). Jacket is optional. Please do not wear shorts or jeans. You do not need to bring your Scottish Rite cap or regalia.

Your fee covers all the sessions, conference materials, Saturday’s lunch, and any catered breaks or receptions.

Is there any help with covering expenses?

Please check with your local Valley leadership to see if it offers any scholarships or reimbursements for attending the workshops.

If I am traveling by air, will there be transportation to the hotel available?

No, you are responsible for finding your own ground transportation. Please research available options before your arrival. You might want to consider connecting with other attendees arriving at the same time to share the cost of taxis, shuttles, or app-based ride services.

How do I book my hotel room or modify my reservation?

After completing your online conference registration, the web page will display a link to the host hotel’s Scottish Rite reservation page, where you can reserve your room at the reduced event rate. May I bring a guest? Are there any events they can attend?

You may certainly bring a guest with you to the hotel; however, guests will not be able to attend the meetings, and there are no guest events scheduled currently. Also, guests are not included in conference-provided meals.

I have gone to past conferences. Why should I attend these?

As we are all dealing with rebuilding our Lodges, Valleys and Orients, for the post-pandemic environment, these conferences are packed with information about how to resume your Valley’s growth and turn the COVID-19 challenges into opportunities. Also, If you are a newer Scottish Rite Mason, the RITE Way Conferences will help you understand better how you can expand your role within the Valley. If you are a current Scottish Rite leader, this information will help you mentor the up-and-coming leaders in your Valley.

Will the conferences be live-streamed or recorded? Will slides and handouts be available after the conferences?

We currently do not plan to live-stream or record the conference sessions, however, this may change. Any slides or handouts will be made available to everyone after the last conference in San Diego.

Thank you for your interest in attending this year’s conference! We look forward to seeing you there.
